![]() | Selmer Chorus 80J I have a Selmer Chorus 80J on trial right now until Thursday. I like the way this horn plays. It's very open like a Schilke B1 (but with a lot more core to the sound). The sound is a little dark, so I'm wondering how it might work in a big band. Will you be able to hear yourself (or it the sound to dark). Will it blend with the section (or is it just a solo horn). I like to hear from people who own and play the Selmer 80J. My trial period will be over before I have a chance to play the Selmer with my big band. Thanks, Jim |

![]() | Is this a duplicate thread? I'd swear that I responded to it earlier today. If not, let me know and I'll deja vu all over again. (Sometimes I get my TH and TM activities crossed up in my mind). Dave
