Selmer Paris B700 Lg.Bore: Pro & Conn???

Hi All,
I just joined the forum and already I need your HELP???
I'm semi-retired now and spend as much time in New Orleans as I can. While I haven't picked up a horn in years (my trumpet was stolen in highschool and I never replaced it...BAD!), I think I've caught the bug, again. In the hands of the right player, nothing comes close to the expressiveness of a good trumpet! In New Orleans they love brass. Everything is trumpets and trombones. I know some players down there and they have encouraged me to pick up the horn again. I can't believe I've let all those years slip by.
Anyway, I'm looking at a large bore Selmer Paris B700. I'd guess It would make a good horn for New Orleans style Jazz, and should project well as a street horn. I could never afford a horn like this in my youth. If I progress, I may also pick up a Bach LR180 or a Schikle; but for now,
WHO LIKES THE SELMER Paris B700 Lg. bore...PRO & CON??? Thanks for your HELP.
Hope to meet you all. Bluej
