That's the Bb version of the horn that I've been playing!

I played an unplated version of it at the shop last time I was there. It is really fun to play irrespective of what kind of music you're into. Personally, I wouldn't play it with a conventional mouthpiece but to each his own. Looks almost brand new... I wonder whose it was?

Serial number is very recent, but he also has a C trumpet for sale thats brand new so maybe people had a change of circumstances before the instruments were delivered.

Mind you we have a suspicious glut of Aston Martin sports cars for sale in this area at the moment. All bought from main dealers and only a few months old with no mileage, but being sold through back street used car places at knock down prices.

Now for a really important question:

Admit it... when you climb into your AM, being a Scot yourself, don't you once in a while hear that James Bond electric guitar or perhaps the rising and desending half note theme?

C'mon, Gordon...

I don't actually drive one.
I came close to buying one recently but I went back to Mercedes Benz and decided I did not need that size of car so i went for something smaller.

Its an SLK350 3.5L with the 7 speed paddle shift gearbox.

The roof folds into the bot leaving just enough room for a trumpet case and overnight bag.

Oh my! That is one saaaaweeeeet car! Right up my alley! I would love to take it for a spin or two. Very nice Gordon!

About all of those Monettes for sale at Thompson - 10 of them? The two Prana C trumpets caught my eye. I have to say, that Bflat would be nice to have as well. I also played an unplated version of that horn when I was out there in March and liked it very much. Did someone get rid of an entire collection or what? There is even a flumpet there. Too bad I can't write a huge check and take a few of these horns off of their hands.

Approximately four months and my C trumpet should be on its way. I can't wait!!!

I believe Thompson helps people sell their Monette on commission if they are trading up to a newer one.
He seems to have a special relationship with Monette and has a good reputation.

Hey Gordon, your trumpet should be on its way any day now, no? I forgot, what are you getting again? You must be excited. You have the car to keep you distracted for the moment, I am sure. Have you "opened it up" on a good stretch of road yet? Zoooom zooooom!

TRumpet has been delayed to mid July due to the new valve block and the fact I am going overseas att he beginning of July.

I have had the car up to 90mph but the speed limnit here is (how shall I put it) not that high.
Its good to 185mph apparently but they limit them to 155 for safety reasons
