Studio Pros and Calicchio Horns

Just how popular are Calicchio horns among the studio pros?? Since studio players are among the "best of the best," was their opinion a decisive factor in the success of Calicchio horns??

Always more questions than answers---<Rick

Rick,

Back in Nov. 2003 - I started a topic of who plays Calicchio's and as the thread progressed alot of the Calicchio studio players were mentioned.

Here's the link
http://www.trumpetmaster.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=180

If there are players you'd like to talk about then we can start a new topic on a few of the individuals mentioned or some new ones that were not, but take a look at that thread - it's full of names and info about Calicchio players

Enjoy,

Larry

About your question - I think you have it backward - it should be " was the Calicchio trumpet a decisive factor in a big name studio's trpt player successful career " to that I would say a big yes.
