I was watching that one myself, what has put me off is the obvious over buffing of the bell engraving, I will wait until a better original one comes up even if I have to pay much more.

    Regards, Stuart.

Cool looking horn AND case AND for just over $600. Looks like a winner. I know Kingtrumpet is going to rub these comments back in my face, but I must admit, this is a looker. But I always have the question buying without testing, is it a player? Anyone out there that can comment on the playing quality with comparisons?

I think it is hard to tell whether the bell is overbuffed or if it is just poor photography. Certainly makes it hard to bid. I have a cornet with similar engraving which is very deep and sharp.

My thoughts too. I'm looking at a cornet and the engraving is as good as it gets. Looks over-buffed to me and very unKing like.

King's engraving on it's Super 20 trumpets was always kind of hard to read because it is larger than most.. I think that the horns engraving is okay.
