I have heard that the largest complaint is that the players do not have a place to put their right thumb, making it very uncomfortable to play.

That is definitly the best looking flugel on the market, but i do wonder where the thumb would go, i would suree like to get my hands on one to try out, not too many Taylors around here though.

I can't imagine a horn by Andy Taylor playing badly... but I still think it looks like a Kanstul copper bell that got left on top of the dashboard (with the windows rolled up) on a HOT day in Phoenix.

(Anybody old enough to remember leaving a 33-1/3 out in the sun?)

Seen one, played one. loved it. best i ever played but the price is prohibitive and the Eclipse is just as good but less expensive. Thumb position is someting i could get used to if i had one of these puppies.
