![]() | That looks pretty spammy. I've never played their trumpets but I played a flugel by Taylor. I didn't like it very much. It played a lot better with the mouthpiece that came with it than with the one I used to test all the other flugels(I was on flugel buying trip) but not by a lot.

![]() | I played a Taylor for the first time about a week ago (someone in a big band let me try it) I was impressed at how smooth the action of the valves were and how luscious the lower register was, but it was far too dark / dull sounding for me. (Never thought I'd say that!) I think it was a Chicago. |
