Thank you Josh Landress

Just got my 1929 Olds trumpet back from Josh Landress who did an amazing job on it. You would never believe it is a 1929 horn. It is gorgeous.

I highly recommend Josh for any work you want done on your trumpet. Fast, great, and reasonable.

I also tried out one of his custom horns while I was visiting and it was a beautiful sounding horn as well.

Josh is fantastic. I had my Bb overhauled last year and I couldn't be happier. Fast and fair. I highly recommend him.

A.N.A,

Josh was blown away by the horn. He's only seen one with a lower serial number. Wanted to know where I got it. When I told him I traded it, he was like: WHAT did you TRADE for it?

I still wonder if I lost my mind when I let that one go........It is a fine player too, due to the valve job, so you got it all refinished? I bet it looks as good as it plays! I must credit A. Beck with some work he did on that horn years ago to bring it back to life.....

Re: Thank you Josh Landress

I was hesitant to do anything with the finish, but Josh said it had been relaquered at some point, so it wasn't original. He stripped it to the raw brass and polished it and it is simply amazing looking. He did an alignment as well. Sounds fantastic. and looks unbelievable. I kept pulling it out and showing it to people today and their eyes just popped out.

You got a pretty good horn in the trade as I remember.

Yes, no worries, I think we are both happy.
I think I will send that "old junker" you traded me out for a valve job, maybe I should send it to Josh for kicks! What if he says I got hosed?
