TMEA Convention--Feb. 14-17 in San Antonio

It's got lots of info about clinics, concerts, etc... The all-state jazz bands are not to be missed! Lots of great trumpet stuff. Not ITG, but...

Exhibitors include Conn, Blessing, Getzen, Kanstul, Schilke and Yamaha. Lots of dealers, too. If you are showing off any horns at TMEA, please post about it here!

Greatest mex food in the world--with the BFI to prove it! :)

Stage 1 horns from the New York Trumpet Company will also be at TMEA- The Texas Dealer, Brass With Class (www.brassandwindinstruments.com) is going to be there.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

Brass with Class Musical Instruments, and the Texas Trumpet Company, will be at TMEA!!

Come visit me and my wife at booth #335! I'll have plenty of Stage 1 trumpets for you to demo and "drool" over, and perhaps another line or two!! Bring your friends over as well! We'll have a blast!

Josh...a lot of his Stage 1's will be...he'll have the Modular model, so trying out bell/tuning slide combos will be a breeze..he said he would let Michael have a New York Flugel, since I asked if he would bring one. He'll also have the Fides...not sure what else, on top of that. At least the California Modular, the NY Flugel, and probably a few more.

Just to whet your appetites....

This is what I hope to bring to the TMEA:

Stage 1 Modular with slides
Stage 1 cornet
Stage 1 Model A
Stage 1 Model H
Stage 1 New York
Stage 1 New York Flugelhorn
Stage 1 California Light
another "surprise" horn...
and a Fides Allegro and Pioneer.

Where I will be positioned (in the newer, smaller wing), you may actually have a decent chance of hearing what the horn sounds like, as most of the "big name" manufacturers will be in the larger (noisier) hall!

Come by and visit!!
