Valve Alignment

Hi Everybody,
I wanted to get some opinions on valve alignments. Those of you who have had them done, are they worth it? Who does the best job? I've e-mailed Dr. Valve, Bob Reeves, and tried to e-mail the Brass Bow, but got my e-mail returned. Does anyone know who does the best work out of those three, or if there is someone who does better? If anyone has had work done by the Brass Bow, do you have a valid e-mail for them?

What have you noticed in the characteristics of your horn after the alignment? My C was aligned by Bob Reeves before I bought it, so I never played it "unaligned," or factory aligned. Thanks,

brassrx@aol.com is Wayne Tanabe's email at Brass Bow. I've not compared the three you mentioned, but I was very pleased with the Precision Valve Alingment that Wayne did on my almost new Selmer Paris Concept TT. Basically the resonance improved noticeably and the intonation just a touch. I also prefer the feel of the synthetic material he uses to the stock felts.

At the DFW TrumpetFest, Wayne did around 20 PVAs. All the people I heard from were totally pleased and noticed improved response from their horns.
