| Re: What is your main horn? Off the shelf Bach Strad - 72 lightweight, large bore. Had it for 25 years. No mods. (unless you count the bell getting kinked shut just before the bell flair..then repaired...oh, and the dents received in the bell crook..then repaired...and the mute scratches in the end of the bell....and the places where the silver is worn away from years of "handling" - detailing the various hand positions I've gone through....and just what "is" that black stuff around the bell bead???...) I guess you could say my horn is "seasoned". |
