Re: And The Winner (s) Are.........................

That's oustanding. AFter reviewing all the entries Sunday night, I was torn betwen Kinghorn and Damo. To me, they both deserved to win it...I guess I was right! Leave it to Leigh to find the perfect solution to two oustanding entires.

Congratulations guys!!!

Kinghorn and Damo.

Nice one guys . It was fun competing against you. I really enjoyed it this year. Now then, is Leigh going to run it again next year. If so, how do I top what I did this year?

Anyway, with you two out of the equation, my path to victory should be clear next year.....

Kind regards to all the other contestants and to everyone else who showed up for a laugh.

See you next year?

Dan

Re: And The Winner (s) Are.........................

Thanks to all who entered and a big thanks to Leigh, John and the rest at the Eclipse shop. I still can't believe I won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Third time lucky....
As far as the prize goes.......dribble dribble.......
As long as my short fat fingers fit in the 'rings' how could I refuse a classy looking trumpet like that.
I had better start practicing big time........I wouldn't want an amazing horn go to waste on a sub-standard player!!!!!
Oh and Leigh....I made it to the shop an hour after the contest winner was anounced........but the lights were not on and nobody answered the door...

Re: And The Winner (s) Are.........................

Leigh has now made this very difficult.......
The prize trumpet looks amazing but then there is also the option of a customised other horn.............a flugel sounds good......so does a cornet or you could narrow it down to any trumpet in their range..................
I've got a headache!!!!!

Leigh made something DIFFICULT????? THAT"S hard to believe!!!!

Man!

You could be like a kid in a candy shop. The prize is a great looking MR, but you're right....an Eclipse flugelhorn is not to be overlooked.

Whatever you do you will be the envy of all!

Re: And The Winner (s) Are.........................

Wow!

I must admit to being speachless!

I have to share with the board a few things. I was in my dad's hospital room when Leigh called me. At first I thought it was somebody goofing with me. Then when I realized it was not I think I forgot how to speak English.

Leigh I'm sorry if I sounded like a knucklehead I swear I'm a bit brighter then I sounded last night.

From what I can remember Leigh told me that I had won along with Damo and how it all came about!

You could have knocked me over with a feather!

After hanging up with Leigh I went back into my dad's room and hugged my mom and said to her,"You're not going to believe this; I just won!"

My dad who can barely move any part of his body somehow or another raised his left arm and gave me a thumbs up and then he let out a loud "All Right!" He has not been able to speak above a whisper for the last 4 months.

Proof that Leigh really posses some type of magic!

Some people I must thank!

To all contestants well done! Damo I'm honored to share the winners circle with you!

Derek thank you for the whitty caption that I placed under my photo; Ed, Chuck and Alex thanks for prodding me along; I always thought I had a fair entry but I never thought I'd win especially as the contest end drew near and the entries kept coming in stronger and stronger.

I see that Damo appears to have chosen the pictured prize so I must now decide which Eclipse model I want!

Now here's a decision I don't mind laboring over at all!

Lastly while speaking with Chuck last night just prior to rehearsel I said the words, "My Eclipse"

Oh my God I'm now an Eclipse owner; I've been ECLIPSED! Yes! AND I LIKE IT!

Blessings to you all,
John

I know.......I got a total of about 1/2 hour sleep last night and my brain is fried at the moment.
What makes it worse is I am looking through the Eclipse web site as we speak.

Oops I stand corrected; It appears that Damo has not yet made his choice.

I know how you feel!
