Yamaha Chicago C Availibility

Hey,
Does anyone know where I can find a Chicago C? Seems that no one has them in stock right now. Ive already tried all the regulars (wwbw, dillon, interstate music, brook mays) Any help would be appreciated, especially if they do price matching.

Thanks
JW

Re: Yamaha Chicago C Availibility

When I bought mine in February I actually had to purchase the one that was used at the yamaha booth of the TMEA convention. The dealer said, making a joke, "they are in such demand that even yamaha themselves dont have one." with that said dont forget to check pro winds I was in contact not to long ago and they had a few in stock at that time.

Re: Yamaha Chicago C Availibility

Maybe try looking used, ebay or the classifieds here and on TH have had a few almost-new ones.

Godd Luck

Re: Yamaha Chicago C Availibility

one_trumpet,

As Brass Crusader said, keep checking eBay and the classifieds on here and Trumpet Herald. If memory serves correctly, I've seen a few of these show up over the past few months, usually lightly used (according to the ads).

Re: Yamaha Chicago C Availibility

I have yet to see one of these in bad shape. Generally people don't spend 3-4k on a horn and treat it bad. However, accidents do happen. If you find one used for 2200-2500 I would jump all over it.
