The mouthpipe will not fit standard mouthpieces; Buescher used a smaller shank back then, so if you didn't get mouthpieces you can use with it, that might be a factor. I'd say get it cleaned and play it for a while and see how you like it. Tom |

| Forte User | Re: 1920 Buescher Trumpet Model 11 Horn-u-copia model list says it has an A-Bb key adjustment. On the Buescher trumpet line, reply #10, has a picture of a Model 11 Tru Tone, ser. 130305, c. 1923, seemingly un-restored. I would say the finish would be silver plate. They , from what I have seen, are good instruments. You might try using the search function on this site to find any other discussions about their playing characteristics. I don't recall exactly what others said about that. The value isn't extremely high, but depending on what work is needed you would have to make a judgement on that end of it.
