1941 Conn Vocabell

Didn't realize any of these were called, Conquerer. It's a 1941 and looks to be in excellent shape.

That sure is a nice one! Connloyalist ID for the 48A is "2 Bore Connqueror Wide Long Model." Says the main difference between the 48A and B is the mouthpiece receiver i.e. cornet and trumpet sizes.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm a bit jealous because my 1949 model does not have the nice engraving.

You have said that before, but also that you enjoy playing it anyway, even though a "plain jane" among Vocabells.

I purchased a 48B Vocabell from a friend about 7 months ago. and it is a gem. I am actually more comfortable playing this horn than my usual 43 Sterling bell Bach. The only problem(which could be me!) is that the Conn doesn't seem to like my B6 Prana mouthpiece, but prefers a regular non Prana B6. Go figure.
