| 1969 Schilke B6L Schilke B6L (same as Bill Chase played)... made in august 1969 and completely overhauled by John Pinc (now at Laskey/Pinc company). Serial # 3964 Build in the month and year of my birth. Extremely lucky I was able to buy this horn recently. It's a 'killer' horn... I checked with Schilke and this horn left factory one month after Bill Chase's horn. In that year only 10 B6L's were made. We all probably know what happened to Bill's horn after that tragic plane crash. That leaves only 8 other B6L's from 1969 somewhere around this globe. Would be cool if anyone who owns one from that year contacted me. I'm keeping a document of it which of course I'm gladly willing to share. Here's some pix: MijnAlbum.nl - Edo's trumpet album (sorry for the Dutch layout... just click your way around. Thumbnail first, then semi-big picture and click once more to get to see the real size photo. Use your back-button to return) |
