New York Vincent Bach Trumpet Serial Number #45 AMAZING - eBay (item 300212677786 end time Apr-11-08 18:06:29 PDT)

It's "only" $20,000.

Plus $37 for shipping.

Personally, if I was a seller and somebody agreed to pay $20,000 for my trumpet, I'd give the buyer free shipping.

There has been a bit of chat about this trumpet.

Steve Dillard (horntrader) has got it listed for only $15,000. You'd be buying a real piece of history though....not sure about the playing side.

I thought I read that it did have some issues when it was purchased but the description says it hasn't been overhauled. Maybe just some very well done repair work.
