The mouthpiece sounds like what is known as the Conn Visible Embouchure mouthpiece.

They both appear on eBay at least once a year, so they are not rare, but they are not common, either.

Although it was considered a professional cornet in its time, it would not be anywhere close to being a professional cornet today.
They often have worn-out valves that make them not fit to play unless one invests hundreds of dollars in repairs, and even then they are not professional quality by today's standards.

The mouthpiece would probably sell for about $25-$50 on eBay.

The cornet in average condition would sell for about $100-$150 on eBay.
