![]() | Ambassador vs. Special? Does a 1960's Olds Special cornet really play better / sound better than a 1960's Olds Ambassador cornet, or is a Special essentially just a dressed-up Ambassador? I ask because there is a Special selling for $500 on eBay right now. I know that the tubing is routed differently in a Special than in an Ambassador, but I don't know if that is significant for its playing / sound. (It is strange how the Ambassador and Special and Studio had 3 different routings for the tubing.) - Morris Last edited by screamingmorris; 05-15-2008 at 07:25 PM. |
