| Forte User | Antique Shop Find Checked 7 antique shops today (Got my college refund check, hooray). The last one I checked, found an little brown case marked "Olds," hiding under a table. An Olds Ambassador, 1960 (Serial number 360567). Came with an Olds 7 Megatone, and Vincent Bach 5C. The horn has two small dings, the lacquer is about 65%, everything works (Theres these two little prongs, or buttons on the third valve slide I've never seen before....). The case has this on the inside: LYONS BAND EQUIPMENT CO. 223 W. Lake St. Chicago 6, Ill Got it for $30. Pretty excellent deal. Sorry for not being on too much. This weeks Frat Rush week, and the week of the first ballgame. Hope everyone else's doing well. Van |
