| Forte User | Well, that is what I was thinking when the person emailed me. Never heard of a "Bel Air." Van

![]() | I had a Bel Canto back when they first came out. very responsive and a great lead horn [I am not a lead player], in one of the big bands I was in at the time they were always telling me to play out more - after I got the Bel Canto they were telling me to back off. I wasn't playing any different, the horn just spoke out more. the only reason I ever got rid of it was the valves - they would hang up at the worst times. no matter what oil I used, I was oiling my valves 3-4 times a job, what a pain. the horn had a great commercial tone and was very easy to play. hope this helps. old geezer Dave
