| It was made circa 1957. It was a good quality instrument at the time of it's manufacture being in the middle of the Besson range. A good example of this trumpet has a nice 'vintage' tone which is sweeter and darker than most modern instruments. The only downside to Stratfords was the relatively poor laqueur which deteriorated quickly. The modern monetry value is likely to be far less than it's intrinsic and musical value. |
