What's wrong with the ad?
Starting bid was only $25 with "free" shipping, and it has a pretty accurate description:
"This is a very old trumpet and is marked Bessons & Co. London.W.C.2 H.75983.The trumpet is in very poor condition ,valves and slide are stuck, and the body is in poor condition. There are scatches on the horn and the horn and case has a musty smell .The mouthpiece is not stuck, but everything else is. I don't think this can be restored but maybe someone can use it for parts.Free shipping on this.I ship in the USA only. Thanks."
I think it is simply that for so long these horns were misrepresented, no one who actually knows what a Besson is would accept the existence of these horns let alone the sale of them.

Thanks for the clarification. I guess the old adage "words mean things" (and of course letters too) comes into play here. I went back and looked at the ad again and noticed this time the plurality of Besson, i.e. Bessons. It is sometimes the simplest of things that escape us. I guess my age is catching up with me.
Thanks again for the education.
