Conn 38B Value? Help Please?

I have a Conn Constellation 38B (5 1/8 bell) that I bought years ago for my brother but he never used it. The horn is in excellent shape and has been in the case in my closet for some 30 + years. Serial #N38544... (Elkhart on the Bell ) so I'm thinking sixties horn. I play Sax so I haven't got any way to play it , but it's a VERY clean horn...(the case is in great shape too) Would you folks have any idea of the value?
Thanks in advance for your time!

According to this website Lars Kirmser's Music Trader - Conn Serial Number List you have a 1970 model. The going price really depends on how great of shape the horn is in, but FYI, it seems that pre-1970 models are preferred (some say, the earlier the better). It seems that every week or so you'll find Connstellations at eBay, so check there. Going prices are probably in the $600 to $1,000 range, again depending on condition and model year. Sound about right, guys?

UPDATE: Just read your previous post about your horn's condition. If it is in "mint" condition, you may be able to command a bit more money for it.

I opened a free account at Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket. Then, you can copy and paste the links here in a post, or I believe you can click on the above "globe" icon, copy-and-paste the link to each of your pictures, and they should load the pics directly into the post. Good luck.
