![]() | If you are in an R&B "Rock" band, do you prefer the Conn 60B or the Yamaha Heavy wall trumpet? R&B work = much "goop", rythym punches, and occasional improv's. No Autumn Leaves or Theo. Monk stuff etc. ( I really like Crespicule with Nellie et al.) Any opinions on which horn is better suited for this worK? I use mainly Bob Reeves M and MD mouthpieces and occasionally pull out a Wharburton. Yes, I'm relativly old ( over 40 year of age).
