About LinkBacksDoes anyone know the model name of the Holton Trumpet that came with HP & LP slides?
I beleive with Serial Number it dates to 1919-1920
Cant find much info even on Hotlon Loyalist.

Here is the HUC page on Holton trumpets which includes several 20's models. I think most of them were known as Frank Holton's until the Frevelations and Lewellyn came out around late '20's Instrument Specifications where instrument="Trumpet" and maker="Holton" I think there were several models that had Bb/A capability. One pictured has all the slides, etc.

I should have typed "Revelation". I believe Holton and many other manufacturer's only made "pro" level horns in that period. The student market and specialization may not have taken off until the 30's. There were catalog sources i.e. Wards and Sears, plus many imports to take care of the lower end. Feel free to correct me! I have read a lot of favorable comments on how they play, but have no personal experience with one.
