![]() | Hello there, I recently bought a conn vocabell. There are a few small differents with a normal 40b. The leadpipe is shorter like a 40a (difference: a trumpetmoutpiece fits in) . It also has the 3the valve trigger like a trumpet. And mention the 2 tuning tubes included. They are both original iguess. They have both the same water caps. I didnt see this tube at any vocabell. On the bell it says: Casa Luna Zaragoza. maybe this horn is custom made or something like that? Zaragoza is a place in Spain. I hope you will respond with any information, or something haha Greetings J.Meijers Uploading pictures does not work. ![]() | Re: extaordinary conn vocabell? I have not seen any Vocabells with a "B-flat to A" tuning slide. You mention that the "B-flat to A" tuning slide has a water key like the standard tuning and 3rd valve slide on the 40B. This is very odd. I have not seen Vocabell style water keys on any other model. It could be that the owner needed a trumpet that would play in both keys so he had a "B-flat to A" tuning slide from another trumpet, say a Conn 22B converted and fitted to match the 40B. As far as the "Casa Luna Zaragoza" maybe the owners club or the music shop that made the customized slide. This all guess work but my best guess. Maybe someone else can be more help.

![]() | Re: extaordinary conn vocabell? Wow, a nice 40B. I also have never seen one with a quick change Bb to A slide. Does it play well?
