Re: First post

I plan on getting it fixed up. Someone on here said that Dick Akwright in Oakland was another good one to have work on these old horns, and Oakland is only a couple hours from me. I'll probably have to wait until Feb. when I get my tax return to do anything though. It will be a long wait. I have been able to play just an open tone, and it sounded good even though I'm sure it needs a good cleaning.
Thanks all,
Wylde Bill

Re: First post

Anyone have a number or address for Dick Akwright? I haven't been able to find anything online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Wylde Bill

Re: First post

That is a VERY nice horn, I love those horns and their engraving. Take good care of it!

Re: First post

I plan to. It has really inspired me to re-learn to play. I love anything vintage. Cars, motorcycles, just about anything. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can get it fixed up.
