Looks like an early Evette & Schaeffer, need more pictures of the whole trumpet for more specific evaluation.
    Possible French Stencil.

    Nice.
It looks like the one on Horn-u-copia Specs on Evette-Schaeffer

A quick research shows that Whaley & Royce imported lots of Buffet Crampon clarinets. So the link between them is obvious, but brasses are hard to find.

This flugelhorn raises the question (again) about ES/BC instruments. Were they "home" made or were they stencils?
But what sense would it make for a retailer to stencil a stencil instrument?

Since I have a BC trumpet and a ES trumpet I tried to find information, and tried to compare them with other makers. My last findings are as follow:
    - my BC balanced trumpet (4 digit SN) is very similar to the Rudy Muck balanced trumpets. Also the SN's look consistent BC <-> RM
    - my ES has a dual bore, (SN in the 6XXXXX) just like the dual bore Rudy Muck Citation trumpets. Also the SN's look consistent BC <-> RM
    - the case my BC is exactly the same as the one for my Rudy Muck Citation.

Balanced trumpets are not so common, a few makers did some: Selmer, Courtois, EMO, Huttl, Keilwerth... (Millereau, York)
I think that even fewer makers designed dual bore trumpets. (that is a thread I would like to start: Vintage dual bore trumpets)

So, my personal opinion is that ES/BC made their own brass instruments.

Finally, no matter what, these trumpets (and I suspect this flugelhorn too) are top quality pro instruments.

Looks like the right one to me as well. Thanks so much for the link. It has been suggested to me in the past that it was circa 1915. Does that seem realistic?
