Hi there. I have a Conn Constellation serial number H 14655, purchased in 1960. Now, please can someone tell me approximately the age of my trumpet as I need to get it valued. Help!!!!!!

Okay, okay, so I forgot the date when I bought it. Sorry, chaps. It was an approximate guess, but thanks for the replies. Soooooo, it`s a 1966 horn, eh?? Well, that`s nice to know. Now I can perhaps get it valued so that I can insure it for the correct amount. I still play jazz, having played jazz for fifty four years; had my own bands and would STILL like to continue playing rpoviding my teeth hold out. Again, love the humor and thanks again.

Connstellations are great horns (but I guess you already know that). The humor was in jest, and you got it - welcome to the site.

When I initially enquired about my Conn on this site, I had no idea that it was a global site. It`s really nice to get replies from different countries. So I shall keep a close eye on all the comings and goings on here. I might even learn something, which at my age, would be a miracle.
