Question I want to know about this Strad LTD

I just bought this horn on ebay.I've played on the one my band director has and it is the best playing horn I have ever played on. He says there are only 1000 ever made and they sold for around 800 dollers.
Could anyone tell me anything about it, and what case it came with?
this one came w' a double yamaha case.

Re: I want to know about this Strad LTD

This looks like one of the anniversary models. I bought one new when they came out. I didn't care for it and eventually traded it for another member of the brass family that has a larger bore and lacks valves.

The one I had was very stuffy and just too much work to play. But, that doesn't speak for all of the horns. I knew a couple of other people that loved them.

If it works for you, then it is a great horn.

Hi!

I think they were made in the 80īs to comemorate Selmers 20 years of Bach ownership.

As far as I can remember, they came with a standard Bach single case.

One of my colleagues plays one he bought back then-a GREAT horn!

Congratulations!
