![]() | N+1 strikes again, help! Ok, snagged this one just because it was too cheap... ebay item # 300356567097 Couesnon Shepherd's Crook Cornet Been wanting something like this and it was ending fast, won't have an SN til it arrives. Any Couesnon experts lurking around? Thanks! Oh yeah, in the process of moving, but once the dust settles will get pics up in the eye candy thread. I have been a bad bad person lately. |

OK, exact same horn found in this thread: http://www.trumpetmaster.com/vb/f140...air-47806.html (Early 1900's Couesnon (Paris World Fair)) Still like to find something definitive on it. The one I grabbed is pretty clean, my guess is it will take minimal work to make her a player again. |

![]() ![]() | Re: N+1 strikes again, help! I looked at the listing. It sure looks like a deal to me. As long as the valves are OK, it should play the way it is and then you can do other things as you go along. As far as additional information, there are hundreds of brands and models floating around. Not all of them are known. So, you may not find any more here that you would elsewhere. I have several vintage models that no one else seems to know anything about but they are great players and I enjoy having that unique conversation piece. So, I hope you enjoy this one, too.
