| Noblet Paris I bought this Noblet Paris on ebay several years ago for under $300. Here are some pictures: http://tinyurl.com/wve5m I heard they were made by Courtois. Notice the "tone ring" around the bell, and the concealed springs on the water keys. Does anyone know anything else about these horns? I've only started playing again recently and haven't played any other horns to compare it to. It does seem to have a very spread out, billowy sound, rather than much focus. Intonation not great, and seems to want to slide in and out of slots as much as it wants to stay put. I'd appreciate hearing what anyone knows about them. Thanks very much |
