Paris Leblanc cornet

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has ever played one of these cornets and what impressions they had of them. They seem to be fairly rare. I have a Leblanc Paris (Conrad Gozzo model) that I love and I am getting the cornet soon.

Thanks for any input you may have!

LeBlanc Cornet...

I wish I had advice or comments for you...
But...
I'm writing about the LeBlanc Conrad Gozzo...

I've been playing my Gozzo professionally for 40 years...
Serial number 14296 dates to 1964...
Got it in '72 in Chicago from Schilke's used stock...
Whoever stole my Getzen off the stand the night before...
Actually did me a favor...
Playing tonight...
So, as I write...
She's soaking in hot water in my girlfriend's sink...
(Uh...the Gozzo...NOT my girlfriend)...

I've been postponing an overhaul for years...
Silver plate is wearing thin...the usual...
I'm looking for another Gozzo to have and to hold...
While my baby goes off to the shop...
Got any ideas?...
Either buy...or...
I have other horns to swap...

Appreciate any help...
