Pedler & Sons?

I got an old trumpet from my grandfather recently. It says "Pedler & Sons, Elkhart In." on the bell. He said he got it in the 40's. I've looked all over the Internet for these horns, but haven't found anything. Any help?

Pedler came here from the UK I believe and during WWI worked for Conn subsequently he went into business for himself. These old Pedler trumpets are pretty abundant.

My first trumpet was a Pedlar. I got it in 1947 (high school) and played it through
college (the marching Illini) and beyond until it was stolen out of my car in the late 1960's. At this point I have no idea if it was an especially decent horn by today's standards, but it was what I learned on so it had some signifigance for me.
Enjoy it, I guess that's enough.
