The prices on his other horns aren't way out of line. I wonder why he thinks that NY Bach is worth $10k-15k?

This is a collectors dream and I think he will get at least that price. Unfortunately, this will probably not be played very much. The chance of damage and the corresponding devaluation is too great.!

Re: Probably not worth the asking price.

Actually this guy does have some nice trumpets and often puts them on e-Bay. He is also a very clever marketer and has no real expectation that he will sell this trumpet or even get a bid. Albeit that it is a New York Bach it's way over priced.

What he does expect is that sites like this will pick up the fact that he puts big numbers on his auctions and brings attention to them. Mission accomplished.

Regards,

Trevor

Re: Probably not worth the asking price.

That is quite a crazy price. A New York bach sells between 3-6k, not 14k.
