Re: Recommendations for replacement cases/gig bags?

An update. Received the ProTec case yesterday. My Olds Super fits well; however, the King Silvertone is a poor fit, due to the end cap to finger button height being about 1" taller (approx. 6.25") than the Olds (approx. 5.25"). I'm concerned about damaging the silver bell with the awkward angle the horn sits at in the case. Is the Torpedo bag large enough in diameter to accomodate a taller valve stack?

Re: Recommendations for replacement cases/gig bags?

I just managed to find a Wolfpak double case for $34 new on Amazon... there were several for sale, musician's friend sold it for $34 (91% off list price), the next cheapest seller wanted $139ish. It sounds like you've already found what you're looking for, but if you're still hunting around, I'd check amazon in addition to eBay, I often find better deals there.

I saw that one, but I don't like the wheels and luggage option. There were a couple left this afternoon.
