Schwab has a spectacular aura about
Relacquering?

I'm playing an Olds Studio that I would like to get relacquered, where would be a good place to send it (someone who isn't going to buff it too much) and maybe an approx. price? Thanks.

I would suggest Leigh at Eclipse Trumpets. He is a great repair/overhaul guy as well as trumpet builder. You would have to talk to him about price.www.eclipsetrumpets.com

I would recommend the BrassLab in Manhattan. Chuck McAlexander is the repairman, and an excellent one at that (one of the best in the world). To have your horn relacquered, it would cost you about $300-$400.
