Repair,restoration, and refinishing

I have a couple of old horns that are in need of the above services. Who do you recommend? What kind of cost can I expect(ballpark) for a total restoration/refinish? I'm in NW Ohio,is there anyone close to here? Thanks.

Hey Cotton,

Try Charlie Melk,

Charlie's Brass Works - Specializing in Professional Brass Instrument Customization, Repair and Refinishing

or

Steve Winans, "Dr. Valve"

Doctor Valve, Trumpet Repair and Restoration

They are both top notch and pretty close to you.

Re: Repair,restoration, and refinishing

Perhaps not as close to you but Eclipse Trumpets recommend Jim Becker at Osmun Music. If Leigh recommends someone, you know they're going to be good.

Richard, thats one beautiful horn. I'm not sure my horns are worthy, but I'll definitely check out what Charlie can do for me.
