I have no reason to think it is a scam, but I would NEVER buy from someone with a zero rating and want $1000 for their first item.

I have a 25 rating and have sold a couple of horns and I know the lower ratings hurt me as I was building up my Ebay rating, but with someone who is selling a big ticket item with no prior sales the buyer is tking a real chance.

If you buy it I would use an escrow service or something of that type that would protect you as the buyer.

These are Indian horns and have no relation to Boosey, as is the cute pocket cornet on the bay also...
