Re: Sherwood Master - need info!

Would need as many pics as you can provide.

I suggest this horn may likely be a "stencil", made by a more prominent manufacturer.

Here are a few pics of it.

It has a gold wash in the bell and has a shepards crook on it. It is in satin silver finish. Bought in the 50's.

OK ... v helpful.

Can you provide an "overhead"-shot (looking straight-down upon the horn) ... (?) ... gotta see the braces and their layout.

Re: Sherwood Master - need info!

I am seeing elements similar to what I have seen on early York horns.

I have a couple vintage Yorks ... but, of much later manufacture than the horn you are showing us.

There is another fellow here, "OLD LOU", that is much the authority on matters "York". Perhaps, he might chime-in with an opinion (?).

Regards,
Robt
