silver trumpet in Bb "Couesnon Paris 1924"

Hello! new here! Does anyone know anything about a Couesnon trumpet with a "pineapple" like shape with a 24 in it? My Uncle bought it home from WWII
He also had a Getzen which I remember him playing, it has to be at least 65 years old
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. You are lucky to have a pretty decent trumpet. Go to Horn-u-copia the scroll down to the Cousenon thread. There will be info on the history and a photo section of many trumpets, etc. Info posted said there the 24 is the year it was made (1924) in the pineapple, or info has it , the French call it a grenade. If you can, post photos. You have to use a web holder like photobucket or flickr, etc., then transfer here.
