Is there any kind of consensus on the most desireable vintage horn

I know this is a loaded question filled with personal preferences, but, I was wondering if there was one horn that most of you would like to have and play?

Daydreamers might say Martin Committee.

Next might be Olds Recording.

Practical players might say Conn 22B.

That *is* just "one" trumpet.
One at a time...

Mine would be a Selmer Balanced Action, but I don't you'll find TOO much agreement. There are so many neat vintage horns and so many different reasons to want a particular one (look, playability, someone famous had one, etc...) that I think you'll get a lot of different answers, which is cool!

Probably a Martin Committee, or one of the first, early Strad's.

Pedal C, I wouldn't mind coming across a Selmer Balanced action either !
Trumpet or saxophone.

:) That's fine with me. By the way, you could probably sell a Balanced action alto, for enough to buy 2 or 3 trumpets.
Tenor, even more.

Hey GW: Me? Give me a Committee in a heartbeat( #'s between 140k & 160K) Mine's a '55. Also,a good vintage Olds is also a primo blow. Have a '56 Opera & Super. Gotta clean them all every week. As you said: Everybody loves one of the old toots, with a personal affection to their own favorite. But I like this question!! Dying to see where the Martin stands with my contemporary fellows (60ish) Anybody??

Mint, original Pre-War Large Bore French Besson in Gold. That would be a dream horn for me.
