Re: VINTAGE HORN EYE CANDY

Would a complete Arban method from 1928 be vintage?

You could probably get a couple of million dollars for it, but I wouldn't classify it as vintage......................................

joking..

1928. 81 years old..Yeah, to me, that's vintage.

Re: VINTAGE HORN EYE CANDY

I recently saw a listing on Craigslist in my area for a 1971 Bach Stradivarius Cornet. It was posted by the original owner. The case for the cornet was in great condition and is also the original Strad case. The cornet being silver plated was coroded pretty bad and the owner was almost apologetic for even showing the horn. She did not realize that the silver would shine up like new. Bottom line, I took the horn to a repair shop in my area and I now have a Stradivarius Cornet with only $300 invested. I might add that the cornet is also dent free. I will have this horn for many years. There are indeed some good deals to be had on Craaigslist.

I have a Pan American Cornet 1939 vintage. I tried to upload & it would not go to trumpetmaster. If you wish to give me your email I can send it that way. jim

Re: VINTAGE HORN EYE CANDY

This isn't quite as old or unique as some of the gems posted, but here's my 1946 Martin Committee. . .
