Dear Friends:
I just received a great present from a Great Friend Claude G.. He gift me his Martin Standard Handcraft Trumpet. This horn have been in his personal collection for several months. The serial number is in the 131xxx Range. Its Reverse leadpipe, with serial number engraved in the pistons, stems & Top valve caps, Bottom ones have the number of every valve 1,2 or 3. The bell Reads in the following order Standard Martin Handcraft Elkhart Indiana. I figure is a Medium or Medium Large Bore and for erly 40's. I produce a very open and foucsed sound in there Really I Love this Horn. Somebody comments that this instruments are well constructed like Martin's Well Known Comitttes. Any other info or specifications are very apreciated. Its a terrific Horn.
