 | Vintage York Trumpet? My husband brought home a brass york trumpet that he found so I could sell it. I have been told that it is worth quite a bit. Does anyone know how I can find out.   | Re: Vintage York Trumpet? Welcome to the forum. I would first suggest you go to Ebay and search thru the completed listings for York trumpet sales. Yours dates to around 1946. Photos here would help and a description of the condition, such as movement of the pistons, slides, finish condition, dents, etc. Also, we need to know all the writing on the bell or elsewhere. You can also go to Horn-u-copia, register and go down to the York thread under manufacturers for a wealth of information. The forum moderator is a York expert , OLDLOU of this forum. We can't tell anything from the serial number at this point.

| Re: Vintage York Trumpet? Thanks for replying to my post. I checked out Horn-u-copia and when I went to the York listings the engravings were different. I don't know anything about trumpets. Is there somewhere I can look at engravings? |
