What Bent the Bruno leadpipe?

vintage 1960s PERFECTION Trumpet BRuno very olds - eBay (item 140321423845 end time May-22-09 11:31:16 PDT) I have been writing to the seller of this old Bruno trumpet as I was intrigued by the twisted leadpipe of this ancient horn , especially since it is apparently intact. I can't imagine that could be an intended design feature.Anyone have any ideas?looks to be from the 20's or earlier.

Re: What Bent the Bruno leadpipe?

That thing looks like it has been beat. The only reason I would buy it is for decoration or to hang on the wall or make a lamp out of.

That's the first time I've seen an trumpet that was in worse condition than its case.
