| New Friend | York Artist Trumpet - Value? Hello! I am looking to sell a York Artist trumpet that I bought a few months ago, but am unsure of it's value...I am a trombone/euphonium player and don't want to put my asking price too high (or too low either). I was wondering if someone here might be able to give me a ballpark range of what it might be worth. Some info on it: 1) Serial # 192XXX 2) Looks like a crease in the bell, and a brace, was repaired at one point 3) Has plating wear (typical for a vintage horn) 4) The great thing about this horn is that the valve plating is very good/excellent Overall, the horn is a great player (but then again, I'm a low brass player, lol) and right now it is just sitting in my basement. I bought it hoping to get into trumpet playing a little more, but time just doesn't permit me to do so. Anyone have an idea as far as how much (ballpark range without pictures at this point) the horn might be worth? Thank you for any help!!!

| Forte User | Re: York Artist Trumpet - Value? I agree with Comebackkid. York Artists in good shape can bring a few hundred from the right bidders.
