Re: York Hallmark Trumpet Hello, Welcome to the TrumpetMaster site. Maybe introduce yourself and tell us a little about you. Pictures of the horn would be helpful also. -cw-

Re: York Hallmark Trumpet I've never heard of it but here's what I was able to find out doing just some quick internet research: Horn-u-copia public forum discussing antique, obscure and out-of-production Brass Instruments Doesn't seem like it's anything special but I'm far from an authority.. Good luck!

Re: York Hallmark Trumpet ![]() Thank you for the Horn-u-copia site. This ipicture s from Horn-u-copia and the Hallmark imprint is the same. I have to admit, I still have no idea whether or not it has any value from this site. I suppose this is because I'm currently a psychologist and have been married for more years than I played.

Re: York Hallmark Trumpet Ok, now I am confused again, you would think I would be used to that by now, heh heh! If it is a York (Grand Rapids, Michigan) and this Hallmark is made in Germany, then did one company make it for the other??? You identified the "Hallmark" on the bell, where did you come up with the York? Does it say York on it anywhere? If you want to find out if it has any value, you have to find out what it is you have. Some horns are obvious but some with obscure history are not. Then it is a matter of finding to whom it has any value. Sorry if none of us can give you the answer you seek, but being married for any length of time you should be accustomed to that sort of thing. Ken
