Dan sent me a tube of ChopSaver that I got in the mail today. This is GREAT stuff. I know Dan has done his homework (just check out his website www.chopsaver.com ). But this stuff really works. Everyone needs a tube in their case or bag.

I have been using my ChopSaver for Months now. I am proud to say I guess I was one of the test people. I actually have tubes of this stuff when Dan mixed it up for people to try at a party over the summer.

Do you think I could sell those on Ebay for some huge amount because they were prototypes?

Anyway usually this time of year my chops feel like crap and at night when I'm sleeping they start cracking. This winter they feel great! No cracking and it feels like my chops don't even know its winter. I use this stuff all the time and it has worked great.

This stuff is Excellent! Check out the site www.chopsaver.com

The answer is YES. I forgot to mention this product has also added close to a 1/2 octave on my range. Double Cs are no problem now. Before ChopSaver I'd miss one every once in a while!

ChopSaver

And now a word from our sponsor!

Wow Mike, I had no idea I was creating something so powerful!

ChopSaver is just a few days from going on the market. In case any of you TM regulars haven't visited the website yet, here's a little insight as to how ChopSaver came into being.

Here is what I set out to do when I created Chopsaver. I wanted it to be healing and gentle without any harsh chemicals. That's where the herbs come in. I wanted it to be soothing. That's where the vitamin e and Aloe come in. I wanted it to be light and unobtrusive on the lips. That's where the shea butter and mango butter come in. And I wanted it to have a different kind of fragrance/taste than other lip balms. That's where the blend of citrus oils comes in.

Once I had these main components together, I knew I was on to something!

ChopSaver protects against harsh weather. And, yes, I have been getting numerous reports about people being able to play longer and recover quicker as it reduces swelling and inflammation. I can't promise double high Cs for everyone - but if you're a musician and you're going to put anything on your lips, ChopSaver should be it!

While I do see lots of people using it on breaks and intermissions, its effects are probably most noticeable the morning after a really hard day or night.

And lets face it, while we all know we're not supposed to pay too much attention to how our chops feel, chronic fatigue and soreness can really ruin the fun!

Is ChopSaver a substitute for good practice and playing habits? Of course not. You still have to play smart. But if you want the best product out there for proper lip maintenance - Chopsaver is it!

Check the website (www.chopsaver.com) as we will begin taking orders in the next couple of days!

All the best,

Dan Gosling

I have been playing in and out all day having applied chopsaver after I got it in the mail (thanks to Jim) and my lips aren't as fatigued as they were yesterday in which the lips felt lifeless like dead meat.

I wish I had this during the Winter Concert. I totally blew my chops and I surely needed this then.

I think I'll pick the horn up again tonight.
